In the South Indian Battle for IPL-2 in South Africa Deccan Chargers pipped Royal Challengers by six runs to be crowned champions. RCB skipper Anil Kumble had earlier won the toss and elected to field.His side managed to restrict Team Hyderabad to 143/6.Their batsmen though failed to capitalize on the good work done by the bowlers.
In the end Adam Gilchrist’s men prevailed winning the tournament by six runs.
